Mercedes Schlapp Refutes George Stephanopoulos: Trump Is ‘Not Racist’

Democrats push impeachment for their own political purposes

No matter how much the opposition media try to take down President Donald Trump, there are those around him who understand what he’s been trying to do to fix the country after the eight disastrous years of Barack Obama.

Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign senior adviser, Mercedes Schlapp, argued on a Sunday morning news show that President Trump was “not a racist.”

She called him a “compassionate man” — and made these statements on ABC News to George Stephanopoulos.

Trump’s great economy is an obstacle to the Democrats, in my view.

They want to impeach Trump because that is the only way they see to turn the U.S. into a communist nation.

“I have worked with President Trump for two years,” said Schlapp on ABC News, “and he is not a racist. He’s a compassionate man whose policies have focused on the minority community.”

“I mean, you look at the fact that the president has pushed and [is] implementing the opportunity zones that help low-income distressed communities across the country, including [in] Baltimore.”

“You look at the fact that the unemployment number for African-Americans is at its lowest, for Hispanics at its lowest. I mean, he is a results-oriented president who is focused on uplifting all Americans, including blacks, including Hispanics.”

“And I have to say I been with him in the room with all these … different communities and he does stay focused on ensuring that we’re implementing the right policies for all Americans,” she added.

Schlapp also commented on Democrat leadership.

“Many of these Democrats are concerned that the ‘squad’ is now the new Democrat leadership.”

“The fact that many of these Democrats are concerned, even Congressman Cummings said that he’s concerned with … just calling freely people racist, calling people — making anti-Semitic remarks … [that is] a distraction.”

“Many of these Democrats are concerned that the ‘squad’ is now the new Democrat leadership. I mean, even for them, the squad, to imply that [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi was a racist — even the president came out and said that was disrespectful.”

“So, they have to be very careful when they’re painting half of America as … racist. That is very problematic.”

“We cannot use that term very loosely.”

While many Americans enjoy watching Mercedes Schlapp speak the truth, some of us wonder: Why does the president allow his staff to go on these “fake news” outlets?

They’re all alike. They are built on sabotage and ambush, as I see it.

There has to be a better medium to get it done.

All of the alphabet networks, including Fox News, aren’t the ones.
