She’s quiet for so long.

Then she takes a hard, angry shot at the current resident of the White House — a shot it seems she’s been waiting to take.

Failed presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday ripped into President Donald Trump.

Why?

She criticized a tweet of his in which he called on progressive Democratic congresswomen to go back to the “crime-infested” countries from which they came, fix the problems there — and then come back and “show us how it is done.”

Here’s her comment about Trump:

This is all part of a larger and longer spat between Trump and various House Democrats — House Dems who have also been fighting with each other.

And the truth is, most Americans are almost certainly bored with this already and becoming angry about it. They want these politicians to do the work of the people that they were elected to do (never mind that a six-week recess for Congress is coming up here shortly).

On Sunday afternoon, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) went after President Trump on Twitter, pushing back against his earlier comments that some unnamed progressive lawmakers should consider “go[ing] back” to their own “corrupt” and “crime-infested” countries of origin — then “come back” to the U.S.A. “and show us how it is done.”

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

“You can’t leave fast enough,” the commander-in-chief also wrote.

Well, this didn’t sit nicely with the New York firebrand — who’s been battling her own House speaker and other far more experienced Democrats in the House — over, among other things, her commentary about southern border conditions, the running of detention facilities there and the situation for unlawful immigrants trying to get into this country illegally.

AOC’s commentary about the president was pretty ugly — and unbecoming, in the eyes of many, for an elected official of this country.

“You are angry because you can’t conceive of an America that includes us.”

“Mr. President, the country I ‘come from,’ & the country we all swear to, is the United States,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote to Trump. “But given how you’ve destroyed our border with inhumane camps, all at a benefit to you & the corps who profit off them, you are absolutely right about the corruption laid at your feet.”

Ocasio-Cortez also wrote, resorting to an ad hominem attack, “You are angry because you don’t believe in an America where I represent New York 14, where the good people of Minnesota elected @IlhanMN, where @RashidaTlaib fights for Michigan families, where @AyannaPressley champions little girls in Boston. You are angry because you can’t conceive of an America that includes us. You rely on a frightened America for your plunder. You won’t accept a nation that sees health care as a right or education as a #1 priority, especially where we’re the ones fighting for it. Yet here we are.”

Never mind the Twitter attacks, the ad hominem attacks, the twisted words on Twitter.

Where is the work?

Where is the representation of American citizens?

Where is the care for our country?

Where is the work of the people?

And Hillary Clinton … Oh, Hillary.

Jeffrey Epstein, the wealthy financier and accused child sex predator currently in the news, “had a cast of characters meet with him while he was in jail in 2008 and 2009,” as CNBC has pointed out.

These individuals “included the likes of his appeals attorney Alan Dershowitz and Arnold Paul Prosperi, a college friend to former President Bill Clinton, the documents show.”

And as ABC News has noted, “One of the biggest beneficiaries of Epstein’s [political] contributions was then-Senate hopeful Hillary Clinton, who received $20,000 from him in 1999 through her joint fundraising committee with the Democratic Party, according to Federal Election Commission filings. Bill Clinton’s presidential campaign also received $1,000 from Epstein in 1992.”

Where is Hill’s commentary about any of that?
