Where is New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio — a 2020 Democratic candidate — on this issue?
When uniformed police officers in the Big Apple are mocked and harassed — and even have water thrown on them, and buckets thrown at them, by people who are rudely laughing and making fun of them — where’s the mayor to stand up for them?
That would “never happen” when he was mayor of the city, said Rudy Giuliani, attorney for President Donald Trump, on “The Ingraham Angle” on Fox News on Monday night.
Host Laura Ingraham called the recent harassment of New York City police officers “disgraceful” and called the current mayor “pathetic.”
“Everybody’s outraged,” a NYPD source said, as The New York Post reported earlier on Monday.
“It’s disgusting, embarrassing. There’s lawlessness around here now.”
