Democrat Dershowitz Says He’s ‘Appalled’ by Pelosi and Her Actions

Does the speaker truly want to see the president in prison? Is that the legacy she aims to leave behind?

When Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) helped jam through Obamacare, which was a nightmare, she lost the House majority and speaker’s gavel as a result.

Now she has the gavel, the majority, and the job back — and sees all of this threatened all over again by impeachment calls from the radicals in her party.

The House majority likely would evaporate and she knows it.

She could be the only speaker ever to lose the majority of the House twice in a lifetime.

That’s not exactly the legacy she wants to leave behind.

Professor Alan Dershowitz, a Democrat, continues to call out his party — including Pelosi — for their ignorance.

“As a liberal Democrat, I am appalled at Nancy Pelosi,” Dershowitz, a civil liberties advocate and former Harvard law professor, said Thursday on Fox News.

“The idea of her weaponizing the criminal justice system and calling for the imprisonment of the president of the United States without him being charged with any crime, without him being charged with any impeachable offense — it’s just outrageous.”

“It sounds like the conversation between Stalin and Beria where Beria said to Stalin, ‘Show me the man, and I’ll find you the crime,'” Dershowitz said.

“The idea of the most important Democrat in the United States calling for imprisonment of a president is such core violation of civil liberties, the rule of law, and American justice. She ought to be absolutely ashamed of herself,” he said. (source: The Washington Examiner)

First, you need a crime; there is none.

Second, the Democrats want to annoy everyone so much that people will not vote for President Donald Trump — they just want Trump to go away.

Yet they still do not have a good candidate to run against him in 2020.

The Democrats are not doing anything good for our country, in my view. How can anyone support people who do nothing but badmouth a duly elected president?

A lot of us didn’t like Obama, but we didn’t act like a bunch of babies.

The Democrats are not seeking “justice” for the American people.

Every move the Democrats have made since 2015 has been geared toward their own election to office rather than helping the American people — and they’ve lost elections and the people.

Dems are now saying outright this is 100 percent politics — and their choice about trying to impeaching Trump will be predicated on whether they think that would work to benefit their party or not. They’re not seeking “justice” for the American people.

It is really sad to see what the Democratic Party has become in the 21st century.
