President Donald Trump is scheduled to participate in a MAGA rally and shun the White House Correspondents Dinner once again.
Trump has announced he will not attend the annual correspondents dinner (the third to occur during his presidency), which will be held on Sunday, April 27, this year — calling it boring and negative.
He will no doubt pick up a lot of cheers after announcing he’s going to hold a MAGA rally instead.

This comes at a time when Trump extended the border shutdown to a year so that Mexico could get its act together.
In the crosshairs are the Border Patrol agents who have been crying out for help as the daily numbers increase of those picked up for trying to enter the country illegally.

Trump will explain to supporters it’s the best thing for the economy and that he will close it down if Mexico doesn’t fix things within that year reprieve.
In a pool spray outside the White House Friday ahead of his trip to the U.S.-Mexico border, the president announced plans to hold a MAGA rally instead of the event, as he considers the dinner to be “too negative.”
“I’m going to hold a rally,” Trump said. “Yeah, because the dinner is so boring and so negative that we’re going to hold a very positive rally.”
Trump said that the location for the rally is still up in the air.
“We haven’t determined,” he said. “We have about three sites. Everybody wants it. It’ll be a big one. But the correspondents’ dinner is too negative. I like positive things.” (source: Mediaite)
