Making a special appearance on Friday on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Adam Sandler — who will soon be hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time ever, on May 4 — noted that his oldest daughter, Sadie, 12, will soon be joining the ranks of the teenage world.

“The bat mitzvah is coming … She’s getting bat mitzvahed in, like, a month. So she’s been practicing,” Sandler, 52, told host Ellen DeGeneres.

Did that mean his daughter would start dating soon? DeGeneres asked him.

“You know, I drive around with [his daughter and] her friends, and I hear them talking about boys … It’s amazing, the feelings I had about the same boys five years ago. When they would mention the kid’s name, I’d be like, ‘I love that kid,’” said Sandler.

Now, though, he admits he feels “very jumpy” about the whole thing.

“They’ve got little tiny mustaches and they’re all a little tall and their bodies aren’t making much sense,” said the Brooklyn-born dad of two girls.

“I see them make eye contact with my kid. It’s very weird to see your kid lock eyes with a boy while they’re talking. Like, ‘Whoa! You lock with Daddy’s eyes,’” Sandler also joked.

“That’s kinda creepy,” DeGeneres admitted, laughing.

“Ellen, you’re right — that is gross,” said Sandler. “Not lock. I just say, ‘Engage with Daddy.’”

Sandler — whose current comedy special, “100% Fresh,” appears on Netflix — stars with Jennifer Aniston in Netflix’s upcoming film “Murder Mystery,” which is out on June 14.

He’s also scheduled to host NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” on May 4.

Sandler joined “SNL” as a writer in 1990. He appeared as a cast member from 1991 to 1995.

NBC announced in early April that Sandler would host “SNL.” He’ll be joined on May 4 by musical guest Shawn Mendes.

“We are happy to welcome Adam back to ‘SNL’ in what is sure to be a special night,” executive producer Lorne Michaels said in a statement several weeks ago.

Yes, that’s right. It’s been a rather stunning 25 years since Sandler has appeared on “SNL.”

It’ll be interesting to see if he sticks to straight comedy that night — or goes political, as the show so often does these days.
