An episode of “The Simpsons” featuring the voice of Michael Jackson will be removed from circulation, according to co-creator James L. Brooks.

The decision comes less than a week after the debut of the documentary “Leaving Neverland,” an HBO film that highlighted multiple pedophilia accusations against the late “Thriller” singer.

“The documentary gave evidence of monstrous behavior,” Brooks told The Wall Street Journal of the decision.

He said it was he and two other creators who ultimately made the decision.

Brooks continued, “The guys I work with — where we spend our lives arguing over jokes — were of one mind on this. It feels clearly the only choice to make.”

The episode featuring Jackson is titled “Stark Raving Dad” and the singer voices the character of Leon Kompowsky, a mental hospital patient who rooms with one of the show’s main characters, Homer Simpson.

Jackson sings “Billie Jean” in the episode and helps Homer learn the famous moonwalk dance.

“Simpsons” fans likely won’t be missing the Jackson episode, considering the series now has over 600 episodes under its belt.

The show was also recently renewed for a 31st and 32nd season, so there are no plans to end the long-running Fox series any time soon.
