“Seinfeld” star Jason Alexander (pictured above left), who played George Costanza on the long-running and still-popular sitcom, is not a fan of President Donald Trump’s recent critiques of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

After “SNL” predictably went after the president for declaring a national emergency in an episode that invited back actor Alec Baldwin to portray Trump, the president took to Twitter to give his thoughts.

“Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution? Likewise for many other shows?” Trump tweeted.

“Very unfair and should be looked into. This is the real collusion!” he added.

Alexander did not see the humor in Trump’s response.

So he tweeted, “Trump wants to investigate ‘SNL’ but not Russia. How does anyone — ANYONE — takes this small, pathetic comrade seriously?”

Alexander doesn’t seem to find much of anything to laugh about these days.

He previously said there was something “fundamentally wrong” with Trump supporters.

The “Seinfeld” actor is not the only one unhappy with Trump’s critical tweet about “SNL.”

Baldwin himself equated the tweet to a threat against his family.

“I wonder if a sitting president exhorting his followers that my role in a TV comedy qualifies me as an enemy of the people constitutes a threat to my safety and that of my family?” Baldwin tweeted after Trump’s response to the show.
