On Tuesday evening, Feb. 5, 2019, President Donald J. Trump delivers his second State of the Union address before Congress and the nation from Capitol Hill.

Unlike the circumstances surrounding his address last year at around this time, for this year’s address — as a result of the 2018 midterm elections — he is facing a divided Congress.

The president is expected to speak on a range of issues, including border security and immigration, America’s economic progress, health care coverage and pricing, deregulation, foreign policy and more.
