Former White House aide Cliff Sims claimed his just-released book was meant to inform President Donald Trump about the bad agents surrounding him in the Oval Office.

He called out a lot of current players, including Kellyanne Conway, with not-so-flattering comments.

Sims also claims to have had unfettered personal access to Trump.

He claims he allegedly witnessed expletive-filled scenes of chaos, dysfunction and fraud among the president, his family members, and administration officials.

President Trump heard about Sims making his rounds on the news networks to push his book — and called him a gossip writer, someone who “pretended to be an insider.”

Now, Sims has returned to CNN, of all places, to express his anger at the White House for enforcing the non-disclosure agreement he signed when he happily joined the administration.

“My first amendment rights as a government employee cannot be infringed upon by an NDA. I certainly didn’t want to do this. I’m probably the least litigious person you can imagine, I’ve never sued anybody in my life, but I was backed into a corner by some legal action the Trump folks took, and so I felt like I needed to be able to stand up for myself.”

“I wanted to stand up and say that I’m not going to be pushed into a corner. I’m not going to be bullied on this and stand up for myself. That’s what we teach our kids to do when bullies are coming after them. Like I said, this is certainly not something I wanted to do, something I planned to do. But being backed into a corner, I’m not going to cower.” (source: CNN’s “New Day”)

Sims said he is not going to cower?

Why didn’t he wait until after Trump left office if he had to write a book?

Did he think the White House wasn’t going to fight back?
