Democrat Rashida Tlaib of Michigan Wrote Column for Louis Farrakhan’s Final Call

As this opinion piece makes clear, don't we want American patriots who care about our safety?

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) (shown above left) is a freshman representative who met criticism on both sides of the aisle because of her profanity in front of her child — directed at President Donald Trump — not even 24 hours after being sworn in.

She has also been blasted for appearing with radical anti-Israel activists during a swearing-in ceremony — activists who had previously praised Palestinian and Hezbollah terrorists who push the agenda that Israel should not exist.

Now, we’re learning that Tlaib wrote a column for Louis Farrakhan’s Final Call, the official publication of the Nation of Islam.

Farrakhan has been cited many times as an individual who spouts anti-Semitic rhetoric against the Jews as well as white America.

So:

  • Freshman Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib once wrote a column for the Final Call in 2006.
  • Final Call is the official communications newspaper of the Nation of Islam.
  • Louis Farrakhan is well known for his anti-Semite views describing Jews as “satanic” and he has praised Hitler as a “very great man.”
  • Tlaib has already faced scrutiny for using profanity against President Trump during a swearing-in ceremony.

Oh, the irony.

Dems claim Trump is anti-Semitic without any proof, but then they ignore one of their own who is openly anti-Semitic!

Tlaib’s article was written in 2006.

“Lost in the often-vitriolic national quarrel over immigration reform is any examination of proposed measures that would result in excessive punishment, such as detention and deportation, for the most minor offenses,” Tlaib wrote in a 2006 post in the Final Call.

“Concern for ‘national security’ has introduced unprecedented insecurity to living in the United States as a legal permanent resident.”

The column, which takes issue with deportations for minor offenses, remains accessible online and was first pointed out by blogger Jeryl Bier on social media.

A spokesperson for Tlaib told Business Insider the article was from 2006 and “was not an endorsement of Farrakhan or anyone for that matter,” adding that the congresswoman “has not had any direct contact with Farrakhan and condemns his anti-Semitic and anti-LGBTQ views.” (source: Fox News)

I think we are witnessing a very weird pattern here.

Tlaib, along with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar, are extreme radicals who are pushing the limits on what they can and can not get away with, within the democratic body of Congress.

Their entire freshman class seems to be full speed ahead on anti-Semitism.

Democrats have been pushing for more women in Congress, but it seems as if they do not care about the quality of those individuals.

I would think you would want American patriots who care about the safety of this country, not radicals who want to destroy it from within.

I would have real reservations about such a person getting access to military and economic secrets. I am not the only one who believes a Muslim cannot be loyal to the U.S.A., because Sharia law trumps (pardon the pun) everything.

I would not want such a person serving on the Armed Services Committee. Would you?
