Rep. Ilhan Omar (shown above right) should know more about our country before trying to fix it for her own purpose.

Omar has defended a couple of individuals from her state who went to fight for ISIS against our country.

She has also expressed anti-Semitic views against Israel.

Omar asked for a 90-percent tax on the wealthy of our nation — and she’s surrounded herself with the “always apologizing for our enemies” Democratic Party.

Perhaps she should have taken the time to figure out what makes this nation work and what makes us so great before she attempts to represent a district.

It’s obvious that she doesn’t have a clue.

Omar left her own country of Somalia and ultimately moved here.

And now, through her support of lax immigration policies, she wants to bring in the very same people that she claims to have feared in her own native land.

I have no problem with immigrants; however, they need to realize what went wrong in their home countries and why our country is so great.

Why is it our responsibility to have an immigration policy that “keeps up” with the total number of refugees in the world?

Do we have a greater responsibility to these refugees than we have to our citizens?

If you love your own culture and want to preserve it, why not stay and work to make your country a place where people don’t have to flee to be safe? And if you love your culture and want to preserve it, why are you telling me, as an American, that I can’t love my culture and want to do the same?

Omar, along with the rest of her “Four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse” buddies (lawmakers Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib) all think President Donald Trump is racist, and they have said so, or at least implied it, on a regular basis.

Trump is not a racist, as Democrats would have us believe.

He is not anti-refugee or anti-immigration.

He does believe in controlled systems and he loves this country, which is more than I can say for some Democrats.

If you want to enter through the southern border between the U.S. and Mexico, please use the entrances. We have a social obligation of our citizens — not to citizens of other countries.

Those who are permitted to enter the United States and live here as immigrants should not detract from the well-being of our citizens.

Rep. Omar, as an elected representative in America, should understand that lesson above all.
