The director of such films as “When Harry Met Sally” and “The Bucket List” called President Donald Trump the “enemy of the people” in his latest political meltdown on Twitter.

Rob Reiner’s tweet came in response to Trump’s message that The New York Times is the “enemy of the people.”

“The New York Times reporting is false. They are a true ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!” the president tweeted on Wednesday morning.

Reiner tweeted later, “THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES IS THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”

Reiner has previously called the president a “criminal” and a “liar” and advocated on numerous occasions for Trump’s impeachment.

His Trump Derangement Syndrome runs so deep that Reiner has even suggested Trump supporters are all racist.

On the flip side of the coin, “Gosnell” director and “Justified” star Nick Searcy has taken to his social media to defend Trump’s use of the phrase “enemy of the people” when going after the press.

“You all were faithful [segments] in the Human Democrat Centipede for eight years and now you’re out of power and you’re crying about it. Spare me. Calling you the ‘enemy of the people’ after what you did to Covington etc. etc. isn’t strong enough,” Searcy recently tweeted.

The tweet was just one part of a chain of tweets targeting the mainstream media.

In another tweet, the filmmaker also said, “No one is taking your freedom to be lying jerks away, @cnn, @acosta, @brianstelter, etc. You are on TV every day saying whatever biased laughable dishonest crap you want. So quit acting like you are oppressed. You are being paid a fortune to call citizens ‘racist’ every day.”
