Parents who are planning to take their kids to see the upcoming “Lego Movie 2” probably want to know that one of the Supreme Court justices — Ruth Bader Ginsburg — has a role in the film.

The first “Lego Movie” was a huge hit at the box office when it was released in 2014.

The $60 million film earned over $250 million at the domestic box office and nearly $470 million worldwide.

Now, “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part” hits cinema screens on February 8 and is expected to do similar business, if not more.

The film includes many popular characters from various franchises, including Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) — and Ruth Bader Ginsburg is reportedly part of the sequel’s cast.

“These movies are so full of surprises. And we were thinking, ‘Who’s the last person you would think to see in a Lego film as a minifig?’ Ruth Bader Ginsburg!’ And we’re all huge fans. It made us laugh to think of having her enter this world,” director Mike Mitchell said in a recent interview with USA Today.

He added, “So there will be a real Ruth Bader Ginsburg toy that boys and girls can play with. It will even come with a gavel.”

Mitchell said Ginsburg does not speak in the movie, but she “does fit into the story, which features siblings playing with a Lego universe. The pioneering Supreme Court justice’s brief role is part of the creative younger sister’s universe.”

Mitchell got Ginsburg’s blessing before adding her to the movie.

“She said, ‘Of course, I’d love to be a Lego figure. That would be cool,’” he said.

Ginsburg has become increasingly popular in Hollywood during the presidency of Donald Trump. The 85-year-old liberal judge is viewed by many as someone who can push back against Trump and his agenda.

Over the summer, a documentary about Ginsburg was released — titled “RBG” — to near-universal acclaim from mainstream critics.

It earned 95 percent positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes.

A scripted feature about her life is also currently in theaters. “On the Basis of Sex” has earned 71 percent positive reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s also earned only $17.6 million at the domestic box office.
