Filmmaker and around-the-clock Trump critic Rob Reiner does not believe the president will get funding for a border security wall between the United States and Mexico.

President Donald Trump is currently at an impasse with Democrats and Speaker of the House Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) over funding for the proposed border wall, although both sides have said they want to resolve it.

The government is currently partly shut down over the stalemate. It is the longest shutdown in U.S. history.

Reiner took to Twitter this week to declare that the “brilliant” Pelosi will prove victorious over Trump.

“He will not get his pointless wall,” the “Misery” director wrote.

“He will not deliver his SOTU [State of the Union] until he opens the government. He will not beat Nancy Pelosi. She is a strong brilliant experienced public servant. He is a weak childish incompetent fool,” he added in his punctuation-less lines.

Reiner has been vocal about his opinions of the president in the past.

He has called Trump “mentally unstable” and even suggested Trump supporters are racist.

As he’s become more and more politically outspoken, Reiner’s film career has begun to wane.

While he once directed such hits as “A Few Good Men” and “Stand by Me,” his movies are mostly unnoticed by the public these days.

His latest work, “Shock and Awe,” took a look at the Iraq War and the Bush administration.

Released last summer, the movie completely bombed. Reiner directed the picture and had a role in it.
