Kathy Griffin once again has shown blatant hypocrisy when it comes to her own actions.

She attempted to call out a fellow liberal actor for not supporting her enough when she went through what she calls a “smear campaign.”

Griffin, of course, was referring to the time she casually held up what appeared to be the bloody, severed head of President Donald Trump in a now-infamous photo shoot.

As a result of that ill-fated stunt, she lost numerous gigs and supporters, and people on her own side even criticized her.

She gave a tearful apology to the press and admitted she went too far with her weird attempt at humor, but Griffin now is digging in her heels in an attempt to save face and her career.

Part of that means calling out fellow liberal celebrities — people whom Griffin feels did not stand up enough for her in the wake of that stunt.

Responding to a picture that “Avengers” actor Don Cheadle posted to Twitter on Tuesday, Griffin wrote, “Oh GREAT Don. I will never forgive you for your nasty tweet the day my smear campaign started. You know it was a f***ing smear campaign and you have never taken a moment to apologize. Some liberal you are. Yes, my memory is long, my ex friend. Shame on you. I kept a list. Fear me.”

Cheadle, a major Hollywood star with a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his own Showtime series, did not seem concerned about Griffin’s “fear me” warning.

The actor responded, “Huh?”

Griffin fell right into the trap.

“Huh? You’re a d*** in real life,” she wrote, “but believe it or not I truly hope what I went through never happens to you. Never. And if it did I would be the first in line to stand up for you, get my a** on television and do everything I could to defend you & the 1st amendment. It’s easy, Don,” the comedian wrote.

Cheadle responded by challenging Griffin’s claim that the two are “friends” — and by doubling down on his negative opinion of the comedian’s photoshoot.

“Sigh,” wrote Cheadle in the first of a handful of tweets.

“Ok, Kathy. 1) We had one conversation on a flight about our mutual disgust for individual 1 [Donald Trump]. I don’t ‘friend’ that quickly so we can’t really be ‘exes.’ 2) Had I been your ‘friend’ and you had asked my opinion, i would have said, ‘Kathy. For your own sake, please do NOT depict yourself holding the bloody, severed head of the president.”

Cheadle continued by saying such imagery evoked too many real-life tragedies. Cheadle said the image is “evoking daesh, daniel pearl and every other painful, disturbing memory associated with it, your First Amendment rights notwithstanding.”

The actor added, in part, “Had you said, ‘f*** you, i’m doing it anyway,’ I would’ve said, ‘well girl, be prepared to have the dogs sicced on you. The secret service doesn’t play around with s*** like that no matter WHO the president is. You’re also risking your career for what I see as zero upside.”

Cheadle finished by calling Griffin’s photoshoot “cringeworthy.”

“Maybe you would have listened. Doubt it,” he continued, in part.

He also said, “Sorry that you’re still dealing with the aftershocks of your actions. It’s egregious.”
