Former MSNBC host Touré Neblett responded to accusations of sexual harassment this week with a public apology.

“On the show, our team, including myself, engaged in edgy, crass banter, that at the time I did not think was offensive for our tight-knit group,” Neblett said in a public statement on Thursday.

The statement was in response to accusations he had repeatedly harassed a woman in the workplace in 2017.

The left-wing commentator continued, “I am sorry for my language and for making her [the employee] feel uncomfortable in any way. As a lead on the show, I should have refrained from this behavior. I have learned and grown from this experience.”

Neblett’s accuser, who has been identified only as “Dani,” made her accusations in social media posts that Essence reported.

She said she was working with Neblett on a show and that he would repeatedly harass her about her sex life.

She said she needed to have other crew members in a room with her whenever she was with Neblett so that she would feel safe.

The woman also said she reported Neblett to the human resources department — and that he was fired.

Neblett has been outspoken about sexual harassment issues allegedly committed by conservatives.

“Another day, yet another sexual harassment scandal at Fox News. Does the place function like one giant men’s locker room?” he wrote in the summer of 2017 on Twitter.

He later wrote in November that year, “We are awash in stories about sexual harassment and assault. For many men it has been a revelation to learn that this happens all the time. And still you’re looking at every female accuser as a liar until proven beyond a shadow of a doubt? You’re complicit.”

Neblett also called President Donald Trump the “Harvey Weinstein of politics.”

That was a reference to the disgraced movie producer who’s been accused by numerous women of sexual harassment and assault.
