Dwayne Johnson Blasts the Recent ‘Snowflake Generation’ Interview as Fake News

Dwayne Johnson is calling a recent interview he supposedly did “fabricated.”

The Daily Star published the alleged interview with him on Friday.

In it, Johnson was quoted as saying that members of the “snowflake generation” too often look for reasons to be offended [1].

But the “Fast and Furious” star took to his Instagram account after the interview went viral — and set the record straight.

“Settin’ the record straight. The interview never happened,” Johnson wrote.

“Never said those words. 100% false. If I ever had an issue with someone, a group, community or a generation — I’d seek them out, create dialogue and do my best to understand them. Criticizing ain’t my style. I don’t cast stones and we all get to be who we are.”

In a video posted with the short statement, Johnson said, “Earlier today, online, an interview dropped with me, apparently it was with me, where I was insulting and criticizing millennials.”

“I’ve gained such a great trust and equity with you all guys all around the world over the years and you know it’s not a real ‘DJ’ interview if I’m ever insulting a group, a generation or anyone because that’s not me and that’s not who I am and that’s not what we do.”

He shared that video with his massive following of over 128 million people.

The Daily Star has removed the alleged Dwayne Johnson interview from its website.
