While many in Hollywood were upset over President Donald Trump’s addressing the nation about national security and the border crisis, some were sure to speak up and show their support for the president.

Many liberal stars were already trashing the president and his national address hours before it even aired — so some conservative stars went to the mat to simply defend the president’s right to speak on important issues.

Two-time Academy Award nominee and “Videodrome” star James Woods called the major networks who would boycott the airing of the speech — something multiple Trump critics were calling for — the “enemy of the people.”

Woods was replying to a tweet from conservative commentator Jack Posobiec that said, “If ABC, NBC, and CBS refuse to air an Oval Office address from President Trump, they will have shown their true colors for the entire country to see.”

Woods replied, “They would indeed be declaring themselves the #EnemyOfThePeople.”

“Die Hard” and “Goonies” star Robert Davi (pictured above right) was especially excited for Trump to address the nation about border security, especially since he called for the president to do so back in December.

“America needs and wants to hear directly from you dear @POTUS @realDonaldTrump please address the Nation from the OVAL OFFICE as Reagan did if Border Security is truly NATIONAL SECURITY it needs a direct talk to America — this will circumvent the democratic false media narrative,” Davi tweeted then.

Leading up to Trump’s Tuesday night address, Davi tweeted, “Since December I have called for this and now TONIGHT we have it!!!!”

“Full Metal Jacket” and “The Last Ship” star Adam Baldwin spent his time mocking CNN’s reaction to the Trump address.

“CNN ‘factchecker’: “I didn’t hear any factual inaccuracies from Pelosi & Schumer,” Baldwin tweeted along with the hashtag, “#Unexpectedly.”

He also tweeted, “CNN panel seems very agitated tonight.”

Outspoken Trump supporter and musician Kaya Jones (above left) thanked Trump for his words to the American people.

“President @realDonaldTrump thank you for putting America first. We support you, sir. You swore to protect us and I know that’s just what you will continue to do. We felt your heart tonight, sir. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. God bless you and God bless America,” she tweeted.

“Big Daddy” actress Kristy Swanson responded to the address by tweeting a video of Democrats in the past supporting a border wall and pushing against illegal immigration.

“The Dems…#buildthewall #americafirst,” the actress tweeted.
