Chris Pratt announced to his 22.3 million followers on Instagram on Monday morning that he is engaged to author Katherine Schwarzenegger.
Pratt, 39, posted a picture of himself with Schwarzenegger, 29.
He wrote, “Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Schwarzenegger is the daughter of actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and author Maria Shriver.
Pratt was previously married to actress Anna Faris (“The House Bunny,” “Scary Movie”). After nine years of marriage, the couple finalized their divorce in November of last year.
Pratt is the rare modern celebrity who is open about his faith. Instead of preaching politics on awards stages or on social media as so many others do, he preaches about the goodness of faith.
Pratt is also one of the few leading men left in Hollywood who can still bring people out to the movie theaters.
In 2018 he starred in two of the year’s biggest hit films, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Jurassic World: Forbidden Kingdom.”
He is set to appear in “The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part” and “Avengers: Endgame” this year.
