Chelsea Handler is more than a little bit excited that Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is taking on (again) the position of speaker of the House.

The comedian and former talk show host jumped to Twitter on Thursday to not only celebrate Pelosi — but to put down President Donald Trump simply because he is a man.

“It’s January 3rd, and I am proud to support @NancyPelosi as the Speaker of the House to make sure there is something called Congress that doesn’t look the other way while our president steals from the very people who elected him,” tweeted Handler.

She added, “It’s always a woman who cleans up a man’s mess.”

Handler is far from the only Hollywood celebrity who is excited the Democrats are taking control of the House.

“Misery” and “A Few Good Men” director Rob Reiner took to Twitter to tell people to “rest easy.”

“On his idiotic pointless wall, the fool is worried about looking foolish. Rest easy. You’re way past looking foolish. You’ve been a world class moron your whole life. #TrumpResign,” Reiner wrote about the president.

Before he shared those feelings, Reiner expressed excitement that the Democrats are gaining some power back.

“Where to begin. The corruption & criminality is overwhelming,” he tweeted on Wednesday.

“But starting tomorrow [meaning Thursday] finally there will be accountability.”

He added, “And when the dust settles, we will be rid of this lying malignant narcissistic cancer. Happy New Year.”

Filmmaker Michael Moore also seemed to be looking to a future without President Donald Trump in a tweet.

He said, “History will not be kind” to Republicans who have worked with Trump.

He also called the president a “traitor.”

“We are less than 15 hours away from taking the keys to the Clown Car away from the House Republicans,” Moore tweeted on Wednesday. “They will be sent to the Time Out room to think about their silence & collaboration with a traitor to all that we believe America is and can be.”

The “Fahrenheit 11/9” director added, “History will not be kind to them.”

Chelsea Handler, 43, is best known as the former host of “Chelsea Lately,” a late-night comedy talk show that ran on the E! network from 2007 to 2014.

She later hosted the talk show “Chelsea” on Netflix.

The series ended in 2017 after only a year.

Handler has also acted in films, including 2012’s “This Means War” and 2006’s “National Lampoon Presents Cattle Call.”
