A new book from former President Bill Clinton is in the works.

Clinton’s spokesperson confirmed to The New York Times that the former president is writing a book about his post-presidential life.

The book will presumably tackle Clinton’s experience of going through the two presidential campaigns that his wife, Hillary, was involved in — in 2008 and 2016 (she served as secretary of state in the Barack Obama administration from January 2009 to February 2013).

But the actual subject matter of the book has yet to be confirmed.

Paul Bogaards, an executive vice president at the book’s publisher, Knopf Doubleday, said it is too “early to assess what ground will be covered” in the written material. There is also no timetable yet for the book’s publication.

This will be Clinton’s fifth book since leaving the White House. His most recent work was the novel “The Missing President,” which was published last summer. It was Clinton’s first work of fiction.

Bill Clinton will be continuing a speaking tour with his wife in April in New York City.

The engagement is part of an 11-stop tour.

What will be most interesting to see in Clinton’s book is whether or not the controversial public figure tackles any of the sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Though he’s been a celebrated member of the Democrat Party for years, the recent rise of movements like #MeToo have cast him in a different light — even among liberals, who once so solidly applauded him.
