Who doesn’t love the smell of fried chicken?

When the breading, seasoning and meat are all cooked to juicy perfection, there’s nothing quite like it. You get hungry just thinking about it.

But since it’s not the healthiest meal in the world (as much as we may try to convince ourselves it is!) — it might be a good idea to simply smell the fried chicken sometimes and skip out on the meal.

KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) is here to help.

For a limited time, people can order a yule log that smells just like fried chicken.

The log is courtesy of a partnership between KFC and Enviro-Log — and it smells just like the chicken maker’s 11 herbs and spices.

The log is also made of 100 percent recycled material.

“Introducing the 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog from Enviro-Log®, the best way to make a fire smell less like fire and more like fried chicken. Get yours today at http://kfcfirelogs.com,” KFC’s official Twitter account announced on Thursday.

The company said in a public statement that the new product is the result of “countless hours of research and development, all done over the last couple of months since we had this idea.”

There is a limited supply of logs, which can be purchased for $18.99 through the official KFC website.

The logs will burn for two-and-a-half to three hours, according to the KFC website, and are five pounds.

The company is so confident about how delicious the logs smell, it actually posted some humorous warnings on its website for people to read before buying.

“May result in a craving for fried chicken. We know the fire log smells great, but please do not attempt to eat it” — that’s one warning.

Another warning is this: “Please don’t put face directly into fire in attempt to smell fried chicken.”

And still another is: “May attract bears or neighbors who are hungry.”

If you seriously needed any of those warnings — well, you probably shouldn’t be trusted with a fireplace at all.

Responses on social media to the new yule logs have ranged from expressions of humorous shock to excitement at the thought of homes smelling like fried chicken.

“I just bought this and have zero regrets,” one user wrote. He shared part of his receipt showing he actually purchased the log.

Another user wrote, “I guarantee that there will be lawsuits from idiots trying to eat the log.”

Yet another wrote, “I know what I’m gift wrapping for the work Christmas gift exchange! Nothing like the fresh scent of high cholesterol and chest pains.”
