Director Michael Moore is not putting an angel atop his Christmas tree this year.

No, he’s got another idea.

He’s using a Ruth Bader Ginsburg doll instead.

“My Christmas Tree Topper this year,” he tweeted.

“Better than an angel or the star over Bethlehem. A nation of millions stand with you,” he added, along with a picture of the doll meant to look like the Supreme Court justice.

Not everyone was a fan of Moore’s new decoration.

Some people found it downright bizarre.

“Creepy obsession,” one Twitter user wrote.

Ginsburg, 85, has suffered a variety of health problems recently.

She is currently recovering in a New York City hospital after having two malignant growths in her lung removed on Friday.

Ginsburg is recognized by most as a left-leaning judge and she’s become something of a hero to liberals such as Moore during the presidency of Donald Trump.

Those in Hollywood have especially shown support for the judge.

A documentary about Ginsburg, titled “RBG,” was released over the summer, while a scripted biopic about the judge will be released on Christmas Day. The film, titled “On the Basis of Sex,” stars Felicity Jones, Armie Hammer, Justin Theroux, Sam Waterston, and Kathy Bates.

In addition to his Christmas tree decoration, Moore also posted a note on social media on Sunday about visiting Ginsburg in the hospital.

He brought her a plant and chicken soup during his visit.

“Dropping off some chicken soup and a holiday plant for Ruth Bader Ginsburg at the hospital in NYC. On behalf of all of you who are wishing her well!” the filmmaker wrote.

He partly filmed some of that visit for his Facebook followes.

Moore’s political commentary has become notably divisive under President Donald Trump. He has spread a conspiracy theory and even called for the abolishment of the Electoral College.

He also recently called the 2017 tax cut pushed by the GOP an “act of terror.”

“All the Republicans in that photo you showed standing there on the steps with him a year ago today all looking so slap-happy and ah, remember it’s not just Trump — all of the Republicans, all of them, nobody has had the courage to stand up and say, ‘This is wrong, this is un-American,’” he said recently in an interview on MSNBC.

He added, “This hurts this country. This is — this tax cut [is] in a sense an act of terror because it’s going to make the people who are already struggling to get by that much harder to get by.”

Moore’s most recent film, “Fahrenheit 11/9,” flopped in theaters. It was an anti-Trump work that compared the current president to Adolf Hitler.
