Sen Kirsten Gillibrand’s (D-N.Y.) tweet about the future being “female” and “intersectional” is “nonsense.”

It also succeeds in “alienating half of America,” conservative commentator and National Rifle Association (NRA) spokeswoman Dana Loesch said Thursday on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”

Gillibrand (pictured above left) has stoked speculation as a potential contender for the Democratic Party’s 2020 presidential nominee.

And on Tuesday evening, she put out a controversial tweet in which she promoted identity politics as the “future” of the nation.

“Our future is: Female, Intersectional, Powered by our belief in one another. And we’re just getting started,” Gillibrand tweeted.

She wrote this even though she herself has two sons with her husband, Jonathan.

The senator’s tweet comes after Democrats reclaimed the House in the November midterm elections and elected a number of women and minorities.

But Loesch (above right) rebuked Gillibrand for championing a “female” and “intersectional” future while disregarding the importance and contributions of others.

“Well, where are the men in the future? Because that sounds like a pretty boring future if it’s just women,” Loesch noted.

“This doesn’t even make any sense. It’s silly,” she added.

“And you’re alienating half of America. And it’s pretty sexist. It’s a sexist tweet.”

Loesch said she is “fascinated” by Gillibrand’s “recent shift to the far Left” amid a crowded field of potential 2020 contenders.

“She is trying to compete in a field with other Democrats who are — they’re very super progressive, very, very far-Left, very different from what the party used to be in the ‘90s,” Loesch said. “And she is trying to reinvent herself. And so she comes out with nonsense like this.”

Gillibrand speaks for far-Left women, not “your average, everyday moderate woman or independent woman,” Loesch argued.

“They’re not going to be concerned with, you know, identity politics in Kirsten Gillibrand’s tweet. They’re just concerned with, ‘How am I going to be able to afford health care?’ ‘How am I going to be able to I keep my job?’ ‘How am I going to be able to make sure that my kids are healthy and taken care of?'” Loesch said.

“This stuff is nonsense that doesn’t speak to the average, everyday concern of the American voter,” Loesch concluded.

Gillibrand received backlash on social media for her exclusion of men and white Americans in her vision of America’s future.

President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., tweeted, “Good to know. My girls will be excited about this. When is it appropriate to let my boys (9, 7 and 6 years old) that there’s no future for them? Not sure this is a winning platform but you be you.”

“Our future is: AMERICAN. An identity based not on gender, race, ethnicity or religion. But on the powerful truth that all people are created equal with a God given right to life, liberty & the pursuit of happiness,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) also tweeted.

Loesch said that Rubio “makes a little bit more sense than what [Gillibrand] had said.”

“I mean, it shouldn’t be a male or female [future]. It should be everyone’s,” Loesch said. “But this kind of nonsense, this intersectionality and identity politics … How is that working for them? How is it working for this party when they have alienated so many people around the country?”

“This doesn’t reach out to anybody but those far-Left progressives who, by the way, will not vote for Kirsten Gillibrand in the first place for president,” Loesch predicted.

“They think she is a poser. They don’t think she is authentically far-Left … So this is all for nothing. It’s going to be a very crowded 2020 field. She’s not going to get out of it.”
