Once known for headlining such hit movies as “Dumb and Dumber” and “Bruce Almighty,” actor Jim Carrey is more prolific in political punditry these days.

But that “punditry” amounts to little more than the release of sometimes bizarre and always anti-Trump paintings to Twitter.

Carrey’s political paintings always target Trump, his Cabinet, and other conservatives.

The latest work from Carrey shows President Donald Trump at a rally listening to his supporters chant, “Build that fence! Build that fence!”

To accompany his painting, Carrey wrote, “Remember Trump’s loyal zombies chanting, ‘Build That Fence’ at his rallies??? Me neither!”

Pieces of the proposed border wall equate to more of a fence than an actual wall. That’s clearly what Carrey is referencing.

But this is considered a minor detail among Trump supporters, since the “build the wall” slogan made famous at Trump rallies refers to stronger border security for America.

The physical means by which it’s achieved is minor among those who support tighter border security on the border between the United States and Mexico.

Past paintings by Carrey include one that asked special counsel Robert Mueller to be his “Secret Santa” and bring him an indictment of the president, as well as one that targeted Sarah Sanders, the press secretary for the White House.

Carrey called Sanders “monstrous” in his tweet that shared the painting.

In the past, Carrey has also called the president a “rapist.”

He also called Trump supporters “rapists” and referred to the president as a “cancer.”

During a recent appearance at Vulture Festival in Los Angeles, Carrey said, “A rapist needs to be removed, not negotiated with. These people are raping our system. They’re destroying it right in front of us.”

Carrey is very open about his support of socialism. He even said during an appearance on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” this year that people need to “say yes to socialism.”

Carrey stars on the Showtime series “Kidding,” which was recently given the green light for a second season. He will also appear in the upcoming “Sonic the Hedgehog” movie, an adaptation of the popular video game series.

The 56-year-old actor is most well known for such hit films as “Dumb and Dumber,” “Ace Venture: Pet Detective,” “Bruce Almighty,” “The Truman Show,” and the 2000 version of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” directed by Ron Howard.

His career has slowed in recent years and he has mostly appeared in smaller budget films that go almost completely unnoticed — such as 2016’s “The Bad Batch” and this year’s “Dark Crimes.”
