“She should be held legally accountable” for her actions.
So said one reader on Facebook about a Kentucky woman who admitted she lied about rape charges she leveled against Brett M. Kavanaugh — the man whom President Donald Trump nominated in early July of this year to the Supreme Court of the United States.
After a bitter nomination process that played out in front of the American people very publicly a few months ago, the Senate confirmed Kavanaugh (shown above, with his wife Ashley) to the high court in early October.
Several women came forward mostly at the 11th hour and claimed Kavanaugh had committed sexual misconduct against them.
Kavanaugh vehemently and consistently denied all those charges. He and his family suffered enormously as he battled to clear his good name and appeared in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee during televised hearings to defend himself.
The most prominent among the Kavanaugh accusers was Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a California psychologist, who claimed that years ago when both she and Kavanaugh were teens in the Washington, D.C. area, he threw her onto a bed at a house party in Maryland and tried to take off her clothes.
She claimed another individual was also in the room at the time and witnessed the whole thing.
Kavanaugh said no such thing ever happened — and the man she claimed was present, Mark Judge, also said it didn’t happen.
There was never any corroboration for Blasey Ford’s claims.
The Senate ultimately voted 50-48 to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court after Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) made a remarkable and televised speech outlining her reasoning for voting in favor of the Kavanaugh nomination after all was said and done.
The individual has revealed “her actions were part of a ploy to take down Kavanaugh’s nomination.”
Now, a Kentucky woman who had previously claimed Kavanaugh raped her years ago has admitted the two never even met.
The individual, Judy Munro-Leighton, revealed “her actions were part of a ploy to take down Kavanaugh’s nomination.”
She’s been identified as a left-wing activist and is said to be “decades older” than Kavanaugh.

Late on Friday, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, sent a letter to the Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation about the “fabricated allegations” received by the committee — and referred the individual for criminal prosecution.
Readers have been weighing in on this turn of events in no uncertain terms.
Here’s a sampling of comments — and be sure to share your own thoughts below so that your voice is heard.
1.) “She should be put in jail for trying to destroy a man without a gun … think about it!”
2.) “Will she be prosecuted?”
3.) “I knew in my gut there was something wrong with all these accusations.”
4.) “False accusations about sexual assault are as painful for the accused and their families as other victims. Nothing is ever the same.”
5.) “And they blamed him for being so upset during the hearings. Well, if I was being falsely accused, I would have been very angry myself … Now Dr. Ford needs come forward as well.”
6.) “The kids never forget what the father was accused of! That’s terrible!”
7.) “After the way Kavanaugh and his family were treated and with everything coming out about it now, I would crawl over broken glass to vote against the Democrats [in the midterm elections]!”
8.) “False report! Trying to ruin the reputation of a great man! Possibly ruining his life, his family, his career? I say definitely prison time!”
9.) “She needs to be arrested and charged with defamation of character and made to tell who put her up to this so they can also be arrested. She should have to serve time for this.”
10.) “Thank you, President Trump, for standing up for Justice Kanavaugh … We know the Democrats are not going to say one word about the fake accusers. I still think that Senator [Dianne] Feinstein should be investigated more about holding the letter she received [from Christine Blasey Ford].”

You could tell when Ford was lying, her lips were moving! Two front doors on her house was against building code as business office was not allowed in residential area, second door for escape, please. If you didn’t smell that one you weren’t paying attention.
Ford’s Attorney said her testimony was politically motivated she was afraid that Roe-v-Wade would be overturned. Ford and her husband worked for Corcept Therapeutics that the company that makes the abortion pill RU-486 it is a $1.2 billion dollar business. She has authored 8 articles on abortion drugs. Ford also had 2 criminal cases in Catawba County in North Carolina in July 7, 2018.
Once she agreed to testify and told Senator Feinstein she would testify her criminal record was expunged. Ford did nothing but
lie. Avenatti got women to lie but once investigated it proved they were lying.
These people are devils, evil! On the premise of preserving murder, abortion, they will go to any end, say anything, do anything, for the “right” to end a life! ?
This is the cancer in our social fabric.
And so it goes with the lying left wing!
it would be nice if These publications would kindly stop hiding the date line on these articles. It’s almost like they are trying to get people worked up over old news to possibly get people riled up over something that’s been long past. Please check the dates on these news items Because these “articles” may be true but they are extremely dated.
She should be given the maximum sentence under the law.
What can you say? How can one American do this to another American. I’m sure there is lots of money involved. FOLLOW IT. That’s the person we want. But in the end, they all go BOOM.
Held legally accountable? How about locked up, and Feinstein should be forced to repay the Treasury for all the wasted time and money spent.
Feinstein should have to answer for starting this mess.
Ford had zero proof. She just had some vague memories. The democratic party had coached her in her story to smear a man who was and is innocent. My husband has kept a daily record of what he has does everyday for almost 50 years. Kavanaugh had proof he did nothing and Ford had ZERO PROOF that he did and then foolish democrats and Go Fund Me donors believed this crooked professor over Kavanaugh. Shows they are not smart at all.
Women in the military who do this are held accountable. These liars should also
who put her up to this?
That’s a good question.

If these women are not charged with lying under oath, this will continue to be a ploy the liberals will use, again and again. We need to nip it, nip it in the bud as Barney used to say.
This is quite old news, but remember Kentucky charges where investigated by the committee but never materialized into legal charges. What did happen was this diverted the attention and focus away from the primary accuser, at a critical time. And she admitted this scam within 1 month of Judge’s official nomination.
Whatever her motivation was, there should be some punishment for “crying wolf”
In the current time, the primary accuser (Ford) continues her involvement into activities related to her charges. Never has she came forth admitting a lie.
This article borders conflating the two.
Such a sad reflection of the Democrat party. Whats worse is the collaboration of the main stream media acting like it’s not newsworthy. We no longer have freedom of the press. When you control information you’re morally bound to do right. This is what we get without morals.
