The midterm elections are now mere days away.

If you’re considering sitting them out, don’t do it.

Christian turnout in races across the country can truly tip the scales in favor of biblical values.

And this year, we are at what Ronald Reagan called a “Time for Choosing.”

Here are the words from a 1964 speech by that title: “This is the issue of this election: whether we believe in our capacity for self-government or whether we abandon the American Revolution and confess that a little intellectual elite in a far-distant capital can plan our lives for us better than we can plan them ourselves.”

There are 30 toss-up U.S. House races, meaning the majority could go either way.

You may be living in one of the toss-up districts.

So much depends on if and how you vote.

Many Christians may not care that much about politics, especially in these highly polarized times, but we must shake off political apathy in every election and stand up for our biblical values in the ballot box.

In the battleground Senate races of Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Ohio — and in every state — voters will determine if the next Senate will uphold religious liberty, protect the sanctity of life, honor the rule of law, and confirm constitutionalist judges to the Supreme Court and lower courts nationwide.

There’s simply too much at stake for Christians not to vote.

Ronald Reagan was right: “Our natural, unalienable rights are now considered to be a dispensation of government, and freedom has never been so fragile, so close to slipping from our grasp as it is at this moment … You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness.”

He also said, “If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”

Please encourage everyone in your sphere of influence to get ready to vote.
