Tom Arnold (pictured above right) revealed recently that Secret Service agents paid him a visit to discuss their concerns over some of his extreme political tweets.

Though the Secret Service could not officially confirm the meeting, Arnold recorded it — he informed the agents he was doing so — and gave the liberal publication Mother Jones access to part of the interview.

At Arnold’s request, the identities of the agents were concealed.

The agents apparently asked Arnold whether he intended to harm the president of the United States — he had recently threatened to fight Trump on Twitter.

They said the comedian’s tweets could inspire others, potentially, to take serious action against those he criticizes.

Arnold responded to the Secret Service meeting with a public statement on Twitter in which he thanked the agency for its service and acknowledged that he heard their message.

He said he now understands that “words matter.”

In them, he does everything from threaten to show up at a child’s school to attack a woman in a vile way simply because she has a different opinion than he does.

1.) He threatened Barron Trump. This tweet came in response to something filmmaker Judd Apatow (“Knocked Up,” “This Is 40”) wrote when he criticized the way illegal immigrants were detained at the United States-Mexico border.

“We all have always heard about concentration camps and thought about what we would have done if we were alive at that time. Well, we are now. What are you going to do? How are you going to speak up? How will you protest?” wrote Apatow in June.

Arnold responded to this by saying his solution was to show up at 12-year-old Barron Trump’s school and make the boy — the president’s youngest child — and his family feel “uncomfortable.”

“Way past sad & all in for these kids with @JuddApatow @FoxNews already hates me. On a plane to NY. Next is protesting Baron’s [sic] private school as well as James & Lachlan Murdoch’s kids. This is what I can do to end the abuse of these children. We’re going to make you uncomfortable,” wrote Arnold.

He later went after other Trump children with threats, too.

“Dude, we can protest at The White House too. Also Melania takes him to school. We want to have a word with her. If we see babies tomorrow we’re going to Kushners [sic] kids school. Don Jr.’s kids are already working at Hooters so we’ll protest there for lunch,” wrote the comedian.

2.) He targeted Candace Owens with misogyny. Arnold showed just how truly hateful and vile he can be when he attacked Turning Point USA director of communications Candace Owens on Twitter.

The “True Lies” star began his tirade against her by saying she was a “phony” and a “fraud.”

Owens responded by addressing Arnold and other critics in a tweet that said, “When @PerezHilton @TomArnold and @ShaunKing, 3 white men, rush to viciously attack the freedom of two black people who refuse to be pawns to a leftist ideology — it should ring as a wake-up call to the world about who the real racists are. None of you white men own my blackness.”

Arnold responded by saying in a now-deleted tweet, “That’s a lot of extra words @RealCandaceO so you can suck racist d*** by trying to insult an actual hero @ShaunKing hahahaha. #MAGA.”

How very classy.

3.) He challenged President Donald Trump to a fight. Arnold must have been pretty annoyed that he didn’t find any real dirt on the president in his failed investigation series, “The Hunt for the Trump Tapes” — because he offered to fistfight the president.

“I say put up or shut up @realDonaldTrump Me vs You. For America. First body slam wins. Any Rally. Any Time. Between now & the midterms. #FridayFeeling,” Arnold wrote recently on Twitter to the president.

This tweet was one of several specifically discussed in Arnold’s meeting with the Secret Service.

4.) He encouraged Kathy Griffin. Another tweet from Arnold that concerned the Secret Service was one in which he seemed to encourage the death of the president.

Controversial comedian Griffin infamously took part in a photo shoot last year in which she held the fake severed head of President Trump.

Griffin faced major backlash from both liberals and conservatives for that action — and lost a handful of professional gigs.

Arnold responded at the time like a giddy child. “Next time Kathy won’t be holding his fake head!” he wrote in response to the bloody photo in a now-deleted tweet.

In his meeting with the Secret Service, Arnold distanced himself from Griffin and the infamous image.

“I would never be part of something like that,” the “Exit Wounds” star said. “I worked at a meatpacking plant on the killing floor for three years.”

5.) He tried to be a big man after the fact. Arnold loves calling conservatives racist and homophobic on Twitter.

One person he accused of such hatred is right-leaning actor Dean Cain, who most recently starred in the true-crime film “Gosnell.”

Cain actually confronted Arnold in person about his blanket accusations. Arnold was leaving an interview with Larry King recently and Cain, when he saw him, took up the issue with the comedian.

In a video that captured part of the confrontation, Cain told Arnold he was not a homophobic or hateful person.

Arnold stumbled a lot — and replied that he didn’t know the tweets Cain meant.

“He backed down,” Cain later wrote on Twitter about Arnold.

The tweet from Arnold that Cain was referring to was from late September. “@RealDeanCain is another @realDonaldTrump loving fake Christian coward which makes Dean Cain anti-LGBTQ & racist. #complicit,” Arnold wrote at the time.

Cain, who is pro-gay rights and marriage and has been for years, responded by saying, “Tom, you’re a cowardly, slanderous weasel.”
