California is facing a serious crisis right now.

Wildfires have claimed over 40 lives and deprived people of their beloved homes.

Many have fled the state and first responders are tirelessly fighting some of the worst fires California has ever seen.

While some celebrities have used the devastation as yet another excuse to attack President Donald Trump, others have cast politics aside and instead chosen to help out where they can.

Here is a look at four celebrities who have done some real good during a trying time.

James Woods. The “Videodrome” and “Vampires” star (shown above far left) has turned his Twitter account — which sports over 1.8 million followers — into an emergency broadcast channel where he is sending out vital information to California residents and also helping to locate missing family members and loved ones.

The tireless work has earned Woods praise from both conservatives and liberals.

Donald Trump Jr. and Fox News host Laura Ingraham praised the actor for his work, as have leftists like actor and comedian Patton Oswalt and “Captain America” star Chris Evans.

Guy Fieri. The celebrity chef and “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” host (above far right) fed first responders over the weekend in Butte County. He made a surprise visit to Butte College and made sure to use his signature skill to keep the men and women fighting on the frontlines well nourished.

“‪In today’s tumultuous world, it’s amazing to see our firefighters, military, law enforcement and first responders come together to rescue our communities devastated by fire,” Fieri wrote on Twitter on Monday about the charitable work.

Dave Grohl. The frontman of the Foo Fighters band served food from his very own Backbeat Barbeque to Fire Station 68 on Monday night.

“It was awesome to get a visit tonight from Dave Grohl of the @foofighters. He also treated us to some of his own @backbeatbbq . Thanks Dave! It was excellent!” a post from the station’s Instagram page read.

Sandra Bullock. The “Blind Side” star (above center) made the generous donation of $100,000 to the effort to save animals from the California wildfires.

The Humane Society of Ventura County announced that the Bullock family had donated the money to help in animal rescue efforts amid the devastating fires.

“The Humane Society of Ventura County was deeply humbled today [Sunday] by a $100,000 donation from Sandra Bullock and family. Our efforts for rescuing and caring for evacuated animals from the Hill and Woolsey fires had caught her attention and her team reached out to the shelter to show their support,” a post of the group’s Facebook page announced.

The post continued, “Sandra Bullock and her family have reached out to other nonprofit organizations both during this incident and in the past. However, this time she wanted to contribute to those on the frontline rescuing animals in peril and hope others will choose to do the same.”
