If Ron Perlman has his way, President Donald Trump will soon be “in chains” for “the high crime of treason.”

“And go he will. Preferably in chains.”

“For the high crime of Treason.”

Perlman, 68, wrote that on Twitter in response to another user’s discussion of Trump.

Perlman believes the president of the United States should be put on trial for “human rights abuses.”

“I think a failure to try him for human rights abuses is as much a degrading of our way of life as any he has committed. And that list is immense!” he wrote in another tweet that was a response to Nancy Sinatra’s asking if Trump could be put on trial for “war crimes.”

Ron Perlman took a break from Twitter earlier this year and publicly mourned civil discourse in America.

“I feel weak. I feel nauseous. I feel impotent. I feel betrayed. I feel alone.”

“I feel terrible,” he wrote in May.

He wrote in another tweet, “I didn’t know how desperate we are to all hold onto our tribalism. I didn’t know how easily we could be divided from one another.”

“I didn’t know how much hatred truly existed in the nation I came to love and believe in.”

It’s a bizarre sentiment coming from a man who later went on to hope the president is put “in chains.”

The actor has also accused Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-S.C.) of being a closeted homosexual — and he used that fantasy as a way to criticize him.

Perlman also called President Donald Trump a “racist c***” last year.

Further adding to the cultural divide in this country, Perlman recently said he would refuse to work on any Georgia movie and television productions due to the Republican victories in the state’s 2018 midterms.

“To all my friends who are studio and network executives, if you choose to shoot movies and TV in Georgia, don’t bother to call me,” he tweeted in response to Democrat Stacey Abrams’ loss in the race for the state’s governorship.

Perlman is best known for his work on the television series “Sons of Anarchy,” which ran for seven seasons on FX.

He currently stars on the Crackle show “StartUp.”

His film credits include “Hellboy,” “Hellboy II: The Golden Army,” “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” “In the Name of the King,” and “Pacific Rim.”
