With wildfires raging in multiple places in California over the weekend and beyond, rocker Neil Young (pictured above left) — who lost his Malibu home in the blaze — used the crisis to blast President Donald Trump.

After the Woolsey Fire in southern California took away his home, Young penned an anti-Trump blog post for his website.

“California is vulnerable — not because of poor forest management as DT (our so-called president) would have us think,” wrote Young.

“As a matter of fact, this is not a forest fire that rages on as I write this. We are vulnerable because of climate change; the extreme weather events and our extended drought is part of it. Our temperatures are higher than ever here in our hottest summer on record. That has not helped. DT [Donald Trump] seems to be the Denier. (I’m holding back and not using the word liar because it rhymes with denier.) It really is time for a reckoning with this unfit leader. Maybe our new Congress can help. I sure hope so.”

Young finished up the post by writing, “Imagine a leader who defies science, saying these solutions shouldn’t be part of his decision-making on our behalf. Imagine a leader who cares more for his own, convenient opinion than he does for the people he leads. Imagine an unfit leader. Now imagine a fit one.”

The current wildfires raging in California amount to one of the most destructive in the state’s history.

In the northern part of the state, at least 228 people are missing as the Camp Fire continues to rage there. Nearly 7,200 structures have been destroyed, and another 15,500 are at risk, according to multiple outlets as of Tuesday morning.

Neil Young is not the only celebrity who lost his home in the flames.

Young was also not the only leftist celebrity to attack President Trump for the wildfires.

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio (“Titanic,” “Django Unchained”) was among those unhappy with the president, blaming climate change for the fires.

“The reason these wildfires have worsened is because of climate change and a historic drought,” he tweeted.

“Helping victims and fire relief efforts in our state should not be a partisan issue.”

Singer Katy Perry was also unhappy with President Trump for his response to California’s handling of the situation on Twitter.

“This is an absolutely heartless response,” singer Katy Perry tweeted in response to a tweet from the president concerning the fires and “forest management” he called “poor.” “There aren’t even politics involved. Just good American families losing their homes as you tweet, evacuating into shelters.”
