First lady Melania Trump tweeted out her “congratulations” to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh following his formal ceremonial Investiture ceremony at the Supreme Court on Thursday.

And the vitriol predictably poured in from angry liberals across country.

“Congratulations Justice Kavanaugh. I know you will continue to serve our country with honor,” Melania Trump tweeted Thursday.

She also shared a picture of herself and President Donald Trump standing with the justices.

She also shared one of herself signing the guest book.

Her tribute was lovely, respectful, tasteful, and kind — but far too many did not see it that way.

The president nominated Kavanaugh in early July to replace retired Justice Anthony Kennedy.

But Kavanaugh’s confirmation process was derailed during its final days when last-minute sexual assault allegations became public against him.

Kavanaugh vehemently and consistently denied all of the allegations against him — and testified before the Senate Committee on the Judiciary after one of his accusers, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, also testified.

Many Democratic senators and liberal activists immediately were opposed to Kavanaugh’s nomination well before the allegations became public, and the theatrics that followed didn’t sit well with many red state voters.

Almost all of the vulnerable incumbent senators in states that Trump carried during the 2016 presidential election who voted against Kavanaugh were ousted on Tuesday following the midterm elections.

But many liberals are still sore over Kavanaugh’s successful confirmation to the Supreme Court, and Melania Trump’s tweeted congratulating the newest justice was met with extensive outcry.

“Have you read any of the previews for Michelle Obama’s new book? She mentions your husband and how his birtherism put a target on her girls. You are a racist, gold-digging porn model who used your body to snag a rich racist. You have no clue what honor means,” one Twitter user responded incredibly rudely.

“You are a traitor of all women. Unintelligent, complicit, devoid of morals. The man is a liar who assaulted a woman. I suggest you have a face to face with Dr. Christine Blasey Ford,” another tweeted.

“Wow. Surprised you had time in your busy schedule of doing NOTHING to send this,” another person tweeted.

“Lady, you haven’t a clue what the word ‘honor’ means,” another claimed.

“Let me know when you get a dictionary. I want to know when you learn what honor means. Your words and actions are of a person who has no idea what honor means,” another person replied.

“Does Donald pay you when you say things that support him? Does he give you presents? Or does he just smack you around till you do what he says?” one person wanted to know.

“Does ‘honor’ mean something different where you’re from?” another person asked.

“How many $$$$ did you get for this COMMERCIAL? I guess you really do think that living in an Authoritarian State is NOT BAD after all?” another tweeted.

The first lady, whose Be Best awareness campaign promotes advocacy against anti-bullying, is often subjected to hatred and mockery when she tweets out pictures and statements — something that Michelle Obama, when she was first lady, saw relatively little of, by comparison (of course).

Mrs. Trump was even mocked for saying during an interview that aired in mid-October on ABC’s “Good Morning America” that she was “one of the most bullied” people in the world.

“I could say I’m the most bullied person [in] the world … One of them, if you really see what people are saying about me,” Melania Trump had said.

“That’s why my Be Best initiative focuses on social media and online behavior. We need to educate the children of social and emotional health, so when they grow up they know how to deal with these issues,” she added.

Even her 9/11 tribute this year on Twitter with the words, “#NeverForget 9.11.01,” earned similar vitriol from social media users as her Kavanaugh tweet did.
