Chelsea Handler (pictured above left) has turned to desperate measures in the name of getting out the left-wing vote in the midterm elections this Tuesday, to put it mildly.

The comedian and political activist stripped down to her skivvies over the weekend and covered her bare breasts with her arm in a photo posted to her Instagram story, as Entertainment Tonight and other outlets have reported.

The caption with the photo read, “You have to vote, like your life depends on it. Vote!”

The very same weekend, Handler campaigned for a pair of Democratic California congressional candidates — Gil Cisneros in the state’s 39th district and Katie Porter in the California 45th district.

If Handler thinks her party’s platform is not enough and that she needs to take her clothes off to try to attract voters to her side, then there may be a problem she’s not seeing.

However, it is not all that surprising to see Handler doing something outlandish not only for attention but in the hope of political gain.

After all, she has attacked first lady Melania Trump, saying she would not have her on her now-canceled Netflix talk show “Chelsea.”

Her reason? “Because she can barely speak English,” the comedian said on “The View” last year — and it’s worth noting the first lady is fluent in five languages.

During the same interview, Handler said she would tell President Donald Trump to “f*** off” if the two were in the same room at the same time.

Last year, Handler also claimed on her Netflix show that neo-Nazis, white supremacists and Russians were responsible for electing President Donald Trump in 2016.

Handler has not toned down her rhetoric since then, either. Back in October, she attacked the Republican Party for what she called its “white Christian male spite” in an op-ed for Newsweek.

Other than taking her clothes off, Handler has tried to promote her political agenda in other ways this election cycle as well. On the website Countable, she created a profile that allows users to see which candidates she supports.

She has also made her preferences clear on Twitter, telling her followers to support a barrage of Democrats while also encouraging them to go out and vote this Tuesday.

“Young voters! I know you want to be heard. This is go time. Do not sit out an election that will impact your future and the future of your children. Prove polls wrong. Take a stand,” she tweeted over the weekend.
