It was only a matter of time before a Hollywood leftie suffering from a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome decided to blame the recent shooting in California on the president.
Ellen Barkin is that Hollywood leftie — and she had quite a meltdown on Thursday morning on Twitter.
The shooting inside the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California has left at least 12 people dead.
Police have identified the suspected shooter, who is now deceased, as 28-year-old Ian David Long.

The latest mass shooting in this country is an absolute tragedy and should be leading to nuanced and complex discussions about our culture, mental health treatment, self defense, and more.
Instead, Hollywood leftists like Barkin like to swoop in and try their best to simplify the conversation and make it about what everything is about for the Left today, namely — President Donald Trump.
“You did this, Trump. You blood-soaked monster. 11 young ppl 1 chp officer dead, so far. and yes the gunman was white. how do u feel dana loesch murderer? how do u feel wayne la pierre murderer? tell us how we must be armed 24/7 wherever we go. u will reap what u sow #DeadAmerika,” the “Animal Kingdom” actress actually wrote on Twitter in response to the shooting.
She continued in a nearly stream-of-consciousness rant, “The chances that this is personal aren’t high. likely pure hate unleashed & inspired by an illegally elected criminal. you have murdered our country. you’re clearly not a man of faith but trust, the dead will be waiting. every single one. u don’t deserve to touch ur own children.”

Since posting the sentiment, Barkin has been battling with people on Twitter.
The 64-year-old actress also wrote a message that was addressed to the president’s youngest child, 12-year-old Barron Trump.
“Dear barron, you are not responsible for what your father has done. you are not him. you are yourself, a brilliant young man w love-filled eyes. i see only you, not him. i have faith in u to break the chain of hate. i hold you in my heart. bless you beautiful boy,” she wrote.
This is far from the first time a Hollywood leftist has blamed Trump for something he had nothing to do with at all.
Actress and musician Barbra Streisand blamed Trump for her recent weight gain.
Chelsea Handler blamed him for the California wildfires.
Model Chrissy Teigen even blamed him for dental work she needed to have done — and said he should be covering her medical bills because he causes “crippling anxiety.”
