Jimmy Fallon mocked President Donald Trump on his show on Tuesday night with a special cover of Elvis Presley’s “Jailhouse Rock.”

The liberal late-night comedian — who goes after the president regularly — did an impression of Trump for the song and said when introducing the revamped classic tune, “It’s great being here in Memphis. A lot of people have been saying I look like Elvis. It’s true. They say I look like Elvis, so I’d like to do a tribute to the great man himself, the King.”

It was basically Fallon doing an impression of Trump doing an impression of Elvis — which is a pretty convoluted (and desperate) way to attack the president.

Fallon altered the lyrics to “Jailhouse Rock” slightly so that they incorporated leftist fantasies about Robert Mueller and his never-ending investigation into possible Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election.

“The warden threw a party in the county jail. Everyone in my administration started to wail. Indictments handed down to the whole west wing. You should’ve heard my lawyer Michael Cohen sing.”

Those were some of the lyrics to this “new” version of the song.

The tune continued, “Let’s rock. Everybody let’s rock. Everybody with a White House job. Was dancin’ to the jailhouse rock. Robert Mueller said the Russians fixed my votes. Manafort was caught lying under oath. Rick Gates, Sam Patten, Michael Flynn. And don’t forget George Papadapolous.”

Fallon then added, “Manafort spoke to Julian Assange. Elvis’s hair is black and mine’s orange. I’m all shook up, the walls are closing in. I’m a hunk of burning love for Vladdy Putin. Everybody’s … In the jailhouse … With me … Fake news!”

Fallon likely did this rendition of the Elvis song because Trump recently joked at a rally that some people told him he looked like the “Return to Sender” and “Viva Las Vegas” singer when he was younger.

“Other than the blonde hair, when I was growing up they said I looked like Elvis,” the president said at a rally in Mississippi. “I always considered that a great compliment. We love Elvis.”

Trump also recently awarded a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom to Elvis Presley. Others to receive the medal included Babe Ruth and former quarterback Roger Staubach.

“America is blessed to have the most skill, passion, and talent anywhere on Earth,” the president said at the ceremony awarding the medals.

“We are truly a great nation and we are a nation that is doing really, really well right now.”
