Comedian and former Netflix talk show host Chelsea Handler (pictured above right) is not happy with Texas white women who chose to recently vote for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) over his Democratic challenger, Beto O’Rourke (above left).

In a Wednesday tweet, Handler said, “Fifty-nine percent of white women voted for Ted Cruz.”

She also said, “I don’t know what it is going to take for us to be sisters to other women, but we have to do better than this.”

She continued, “We need to vote for the best interests of others, and stop thinking only about ourselves.”

Handler’s words of condemnation are exactly what one should expect from a modern-day Hollywood leftist. These people use shame as a tool and say generic things about how those who vote differently than them don’t care about other people.

“We need to vote for the best interests of others, and stop thinking only about ourselves.”

What does this even mean? What generic, feel-good, factless ideology is Handler pushing at this point?

Of course we need to vote for the person who will do the best for us. By doing better as individuals, we do better as communities.

We shouldn’t expect much from Handler at this point, though. Her political activism is peppered with eye-rolling statements.

Who do you think would win the Presidency?

She previously shamed white women for voting for President Donald Trump.

She also blamed the president for California wildfires.

Oh, and she stripped naked in a social media post to encourage people to vote in the midterm elections.

Need another example of her air-headed politics? She also said she would never interview first lady Melania Trump — back when Handler actually had a show — because the first lady barely speaks English.

In reality, Mrs. Trump speaks five languages — but reality is not a place celebrities like Handler like to occupy too often.

Expect more Beto O’Rourke worship from Hollywood. Many are already pushing the failed senator-wannabe to run for president in 2020, and even more tried to paint his recent loss as an actual victory.

“Dumb and Dumber” actor Jim Carrey released one of his famous political paintings, declaring that a “star is born” in reference to O’Rourke.

He also called him a “budding Mr. Smith” in reference to the classic film “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.” It’s an odd reference to make, since that film railed against big government and bureaucracy, two things leftists like O’Rourke can’t get enough of, apparently.

“My congratulations to the record numbers of women who rose to the challenge of restoring the balance. Also last night a Star was born: Beto O’Rourke: a smart and decent guy who very nearly turned Texas blue. There are great things in store for this budding Mr. Smith,” Carrey said in his tweet.
