Celebrity chef Guy Fieri (shown above left) showed his thanks to the first responders who are tirelessly fighting the California wildfires by using his signature skill to feed the heroes.
The “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” host made a surprise visit to Butte College over the weekend and provided meals to the first responders fighting off the devastating Camp Fire in Butte County, according to Fox 10.
“In today’s tumultuous world, it’s amazing to see our firefighters, military, law enforcement and first responders come together to rescue our communities devestated by fire.”
“So many great people stepping up to take care of one another #ProudAmerican #CampFire,” Fieri wrote about the charitable work in a Monday tweet.

The wildfires in California have taken the lives of over 40 people so far. The fires have also deprived people of their beloved homes and forced many to flee the state.
Fieri is the latest celebrity to exemplify, during a trying time, the real good that can be accomplished thanks to a public platform. Fieri is doing his part by helping first responders on the frontlines of the battle against these deadly fires.
Two-time Academy Award nominee and outspoken Donald Trump supporter James Woods has also stood out as a celebrity who has used his platform for good amid California’s current struggles.
The “Once Upon a Time in America” and “White House Down” star has turned his Twitter account — with nearly two million followers — into an emergency broadcast channel that has helped spread vital information and connect loved ones looking for each other amidst the awful fires.
Woods has completely put politics aside and helped people regardless of their political affiliations.
He even helped leftist actress Alyssa Milano.
The work has earned him praise from Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Donald Trump Jr., and even outspoken critics of conservatives and the president, such as “Agents of Shield” and “A.P. Bio” actor and comedian Patton Oswalt and “Captain America: Civil War” and “Avengers: Infinity War” star Chris Evans.
Fieri, Woods and others are exemplifying the great things celebrities can do right now when they put their energy on uniting people and making a real difference where it is needed.
