Musician Pink (pictured above left with husband Carey Hart) may be known for her leftist views, but the singer’s husband recently let the world know that he is not afraid to exercise his Second Amendment rights.

Pink has been married to Carey Hart, a former motocross racer, since 2006 and the two live in a mansion in Malibu, California. With the deadly Woolsey Fire that is currently rummaging through Southern California, Hart posted a stern warning on Instagram to anyone who tries to break into their home amid the chaos.

Appearing in a photograph alongside a group of men covering their faces with masks and eyes with sunglasses behind a wooden sign that reads, “Looters will be shot on site!”

Hart wrote with the photo, “It’s unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis. While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires. There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes. Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu.”

Hart is not the only person trying to stop looting in the area. In the Malibu and Topanga Canyon areas, there are around 200 police officers out on patrol specifically for “looting suppression,” as USA Today and other outlets have reported. Thus far, there have been at least two arrests made against suspected looters.

Even with people worried about losing their property due to the threat of looting, it is surprising to see someone so closely associated with Pink (real name Alecia Beth Moore) talking about using a firearm. After all, she has made her stance on guns clear in the past.

Following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting back in February, Pink shared this quote from Bernie Sanders on Instagram alongside the hashtag “#Repost.”

“Another horrific shooting. Another unspeakable horror. My thoughts are with everyone at Majory Stoneman Douglas High School after the terrible day. Maybe, just maybe, after 18 school shooting in America in just 44 days of 2018, the Congress might want to consider common-sense gun safety legislation and save innocent lives.”

Last year, Pink also revealed that she is raising her children “gender-neutral” and she has made her views of President Donald Trump clear to the public on several occasions.

“What’s my reaction to Trump?,” she told People. “Simply f***ing unbelievable. There is no good stuff with him, no good stuff at all. There’s zero there. I just want this part over so we can get to the clean-up operation.”
