Anti-Trump actor Alec Baldwin was reportedly arrested Friday afternoon for punching a man in the face in a parking lot in New York City’s West Village neighborhood.

The “Saturday Night Live” and “The Shadow” actor got into an argument over a parking spot, according to a piece in Fox News.

Police responded to a call that a 49-year-old man was punched in his left jaw. The man was transported to Lenox Hospital and was conscious when police arrived.

Charges against 60-year-old Baldwin are still pending — but he could be facing assault charges depending on the police investigation.

Baldwin lives in Manhattan with his wife and four children.

This is far from the filmmaker’s first run-in with the law. Before he received weekly pats on the back from the mainstream media for his performance as President Donald Trump on “Saturday Night Live,” Baldwin was plagued with negative headlines regarding his outbursts and anger.

He was arrested in 2014 after becoming “belligerent” with a cop who stopped him for riding in the wrong direction on a bicycle.

Baldwin went on a tirade on Twitter after the incident, claiming the paparazzi were putting his family in danger.

He also posted his arresting officer’s name and badge number.

He was kicked off a flight in 2011 for refusing to stop playing Words with Friends on his phone when the plane was ready to take off.

Alec Baldwin has also had several heated run-ins with paparazzi.

In 2013, he even reportedly used a homophobic slur to describe a photographer, something he has denied ever doing.

In addition to his work for “Saturday Night Live,” Baldwin currently hosts his own talk show for ABC, which has been tanking in the ratings.

It was always strange to see leftists and the media welcome Baldwin back into their arms so warmly simply because he was so staunchly anti-Trump.

This is an artist who has revealed his troubles with anger in many instances — and his trouble with ego as well.

Need more proof of that ego?

Baldwin claimed recently that if he ran for president against Donald Trump, he would win.

“If I ran, I would win,” the actor told Howard Stern in an interview. “I would absolutely win.”

What is keeping the confidant man from running? He joked that the personal toll might end up being too much.

“My wife told me she’d divorce me if I ran for office,” he said.

Those who follow the actor’s escapades are pretty sure there are a few other things that would make it difficult for him to run as well.
