Academy Award nominee and outspoken leftist Hollywood star Alec Baldwin took to Twitter this week to call President Donald Trump “a national socialist tumor.”

“The United States has a national socialist tumor in its body and it is growing day by day. This alone should compel you to do everything in your power to get rid of Trump,” tweeted the actor, who has played the president a bunch of times on “Saturday Night Live.”

Baldwin’s Twitter account has over 1.1 million followers.

The actor’s become especially extreme in his anti-Trump rhetoric over the past few weeks. He recently said at a Democrat fundraiser in New Hampshire that it’s time to “overthrow” the Trump administration.

“It is time to overthrow the government of Donald Trump — not in a violent way or unlawful way — but it must be overthrown nonetheless,” the “Shadow” actor said.

“Let’s make America great again by making Donald Trump a casino operator again.”

The “Mission: Impossible — Fallout” and “Boss Baby” star also recently said that Trump supporters owe the rest of the country an apology for electing the current president.

“Everyone who voted for Trump owes everyone else an apology,” he tweeted pompously.

After bouncing back from a career laden with controversies and negative headlines thanks to his Trump impressions on “Saturday Night Live,” Baldwin now finds himself in career trouble again.

He was recently in handcuffs due to an altercation in Manhattan over a parking spot.

Several female journalists have also come forward to reveal some pretty negative run-ins with the filmmaker.

Baldwin is best known for such hit films as “The Departed,” “It’s Complicated,” “Glengarry Glen Ross,” and “Fun with Dick and Jane.”

He has also appeared on television shows like “Will & Grace” and “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.” He was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Academy Award in 2004 for “The Coolor.”

He has won three Golden Globes and two Emmy Awards for his work on the comedy series “30 Rock.”

He’s also won an Emmy Award for his Donald Trump portrayal on “Saturday Night Live” — and been nominated one other time.

Baldwin’s most recent professional effort is “The Alec Baldwin Show,” an ABC talk show that has tanked in the ratings and was sent to the graveyard shift on Saturday nights, where it will likely limp its way slowly to cancellation.
