President Donald Trump speaks at 7:30 p.m. (EST) Thursday at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota, where he will for the third time this week deliver an impassioned campaign stump speech to fire up Republicans for the November 6 election.

The chief executive is certain to speak about his Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who appears to be nearing a decisive vote Saturday in the U.S. Senate. The vote will be close, but barring any further surprises is likely to be a victory for both Trump and Kavanaugh.

Trump can be expected to hit hard at Democrats for delaying Kavanaugh’s confirmation at every turn since his nomination was announced July 9.

One of the Democrats Trump will talk about could be Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), who is running for the role of attorney general despite well-documented allegations that he physically abused a former girlfriend.
