President Donald Trump takes his barnstorming Make America Great Again rally campaign to the Mid-American Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in the vicinity of metro Omaha, Nebraska.

Trump has hinted he will make some news at tonight’s rally and, given the state of Iowa’s extensive agricultural interests, odds are good the announcement will have something to do with corn, including possibly allowing blending ethanol into gasoline year-round.

Iowa is home to Senate Committee on the Judiciary Chairman Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), who played a prominent role in the confirmation battle that put Justice Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. Trump will undoubtedly have lavish praise for Grassley.

It won’t be praise for Democrats, however; they president says they’ve become the party of “more disorder, more chaos” and threaten to repeal much of the progress made with tax cuts, federal court appointments, deregulation, and renegotiating foreign treaties that disadvantage the U.S.

The rally is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. EST.
