Right-leaning comedians are teaming up and hitting the road for “The Deplorables Tour: We’re Funny Because We’re Right” comedy tour.
“If you’re used to comedy and comedians leaning to the Left, we’re leaning to the Right, and it’s going to be much more fun,” comedian Michael Loftus (pictured above right) told “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday morning about the upcoming tour, which will kick off at the Houston Improv on November 5.
“The Left has a stranglehold on entertainment, and we’re going to fight out of this chokehold. We’re kicking out of it,” the comedian and sitcom producer continued.
Popular comedians Terrence K. Williams and Steve “Mudflap” McGrew, along with others, will join Loftus on the tour.
“The Left and the media [have] demonized this president and demonized anyone on the Right. Someone has to start hitting back, for lack of a better word,” said Loftus.
Loftus specifically mentioned Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) as potential targets of the tour’s comedy, but said it’s open season on others as well.
“If you’re an idiot, you’re going to be made fun of. That’s how it’s supposed to work,” he said.
Loftus has quite a list of accomplishments under his belt. He has written and produced for Charlie Sheen’s “Anger Management,” Kevin James’ “Kevin Can Wait,” and more.

Terrence K. Williams (pictured above center) sports over 300,000 followers on Twitter, and his reaction videos to news events often go viral. Check out one below:

Steve “Mudflap” McGrew (pictured at the top of this article, left) has over 80,000 followers on Twitter and is one of the voices behind the song “Friends in Safe Spaces,” a play on the popular Garth Brooks song “Friends in Low Places.”
McGrew’s song parodies increasingly sensitive and politically correct college campuses; it went viral when it was first released early last year.
Conservative crowds are underserved in the culture and right-leaning comedy has been working in recent years.
“Roseanne” earned huge ratings last year, and the Tim Allen-led “Last Man Standing” has been a similar ratings winner in its seventh season this year.
Mainstream Hollywood, however, can’t be trusted to deliver material to those conservative crowds, which is why a tour like this is needed. After all, “Roseanne” was canceled, sanitized and turned into the Roseanne Barr-less “The Conners,” and “Last Man Standing” returned to television only after being mysteriously canceled by ABC (the same network to drop Barr from “Roseanne”).
