Michael Moore jumped into conspiracy theory territory on Wednesday when talking about President Donald Trump.

Cellphones in the United States got a test “presidential alert” in the afternoon and Moore, being the anti-Trump person that he is, jumped to a paranoid conclusion from it.

He tweeted out, “It was just a test. But make no mistake about it. This is the world in which we now live. That’s my final line in ‘Fahrenheit 11/9.’ A few minutes ago, Trump gave us a preview of the state of emergency he is creating to justify the end of democracy as we know it. RESIST!”

The alert — which came at 2:18 p.m. — was from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The agency’s Twitter page explained that a presidential alert is “meant for use in a national emergency and the only type of WEA (Wireless Emergency Alert) alert that can be sent nationwide by FEMA.”

In other words, it is a way for the government to potentially warn or aid people in a time of crisis.

However, it should not be all that surprising that Moore is panicking over the move.

After all, he attempted to sell fear in his latest anti-Trump film “Fahrenheit 11/9.” In it, he reportedly compares President Trump to Adolf Hitler.

The movie has been a massive flop at the box office. As of Wednesday, it had earned a paltry $5.5 million at the box office, despite the massive media attention and glowing reviews from critics it received. It was not Moore’s first anti-Trump documentary either; he released one in October 2016 called “Michael Moore in TrumpLand” in the hope of preventing Trump from being elected.

He also had an anti-Trump Broadway show last year called “The Terms of My Surrender,” which flopped as well.

Keep in mind: This is the same Michael Moore who suggested the legal voting age in the United States should be lowered from 18 to 16.

It’s also the same Moore who called the NRA a “terrorist organization” back in February of this year on Twitter.

“The NRA is a terrorist organization,” he wrote. “The media should speak of the NRA in the same way they do ISIS. Total ISIS-inspired deaths in US = 79. Thanks to the NRA & the politicians they buy, we’ve had 1.2 MILLION American gun deaths since John Lennon was shot dead in NYC #NRAKillsKids”
