Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel — seemingly fixated always on anything President Donald Trump does and says — is not happy with Trump’s response to news that suspicious packages suspected to be explosive devices were sent to a handful of political figures.

“The media also has a responsibility to set a civil tone and to stop the endless hostility and constant negative and oftentimes false attacks in stories. [They] have to do it,” Trump said in one of his many statements after the packages were being sent out.

Kimmel played a clip of Trump’s words — then responded with his usual leftist rhetoric.

“Blaming the media for bombs that were sent to the media is like blaming skyscrapers for 9/11. It’s mind-boggling,” said Kimmel on Thursday night. “It’s #Dobbs is what it is. It’s a steaming pile of #Dobbs. But for him to call for the media to stop the endless hostility and false attacks when he, this wall behind me right now, this is papered with — these are false — these, well, nothing but hostility and false attacks written by someone who clearly must be impersonating Donald Trump on Twitter.”

The comedian continued, “Despite the prepared statement, the president did not do much to encourage us all to be best but, what was northwest notable, the most important thing he told the crowd in Wisconsin and a national television audience was this.”

What Kimmel ignored is that the president also called the suspicious packages “abhorrent” and an “attack on our democracy.”

Many Democratic figures this past week were sent suspicious packages, including former President Barack Obama, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and actor Robert De Niro. All of them are vocal critics of Trump.

In an early Friday morning tweet, the president lashed out at those in the media trying to blame him for the packages.

Kimmel has been one of many late-night hosts to use the horrible act of sending these potentially highly dangerous packages out as an excuse to attack Trump.

“Funny how lowly rated CNN, and others, can criticize me at will, even blaming me for the current spate of bombs and ridiculously comparing this to September 11th and the Oklahoma City bombing, yet when I criticize them they go wild and scream, ‘It’s just not presidential!'” he tweeted.

Others include such leftists as Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers.

Colbert recently went after the president specifically for agreeing with a statement Vice President Mike Pence made through Twitter condemning the action of sending explosive devices to political figures. He somehow even managed to take the short statement and compare Trump to the Ku Klux Klan.
