It’s surprising that Alec Baldwin is not a fan of President Donald Trump. The actor, after all, has had an impressive comeback under the current administration.

While his career was once stalled and plagued by unsavory tabloid headlines, he has now become a darling of the media with his award-winning portrayals of the president on “Saturday Night Live.”

Baldwin, 61, recently appeared at a Democratic Party fundraiser in New Hampshire — and not only expressed dissent against the government, but suggested it was time to “overthrow” Trump and the current administration as well.

“The way we implement change in America is through elections. We change governments here at home in an orderly and formal way,” the actor said.

“In that orderly and formal way and lawful way, we need to overthrow the government of the United States under Donald Trump.”

The “Boss Baby” and “Beetlejuice” star also said the Republican Party is one that opposes change in America.

The actor said conservatives “shrug” over gun violence [and] “spit in the face” of new energy policies and minorities “who seek a decent seat at the American economic table but instead are issued a prison term, or worse, a bullet.”

The actor also made sure to go after Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who was recently confirmed to the Supreme Court after a bitter and unsavory battle.

“They [Republicans] themselves are sons, husbands, fathers, and yet when the time arrived in the thick of the #MeToo movement to set politics aside and establish that women’s rights were more important than political expediency, they failed and it was ugly,” he said.

Kavanaugh was accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct, but was confirmed to the Supreme Court after an FBI investigation failed to corroborate the allegations.

It’s amazing to see the kind of language leftists like Baldwin use so casually against those with whom they disagree. If a conservative talked about overthrowing the government under the presidency of Barack Obama, the mainstream media would be in code red and covering it nonstop — until that person was forced to apologize or further explain his or her stance.

Baldwin, however, stands against Trump and is therefore able to basically use whatever language he chooses against the man.

In addition to his “Saturday Night Live” appearances as the president, Baldwin is now hosting his own talk show, which debuted Sunday night.

He has also starred in recent major releases such as “Mission: Impossible — Fallout” and “BlacKkKlansman.”
