Tucker Carlson debated Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti live on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” Thursday evening.

After weeks of trading insults off the air, the discussion was fiery almost immediately as the two men traded direct insults — each repeatedly questioning the ethics of the other.

Carlson asked Avenatti, whom he’s often called the “creepy porn lawyer,” about his 2020 presidential ambitions, following Avenatti’s July rally appearance directly after President Donald Trump’s summit with Vladimir Putin, Russia’s leader.

Russia used “hackers and tweeters to elect this president,” Avenatti said at that rally.

Carlson charged that Avenatti was engaging in “reckless rhetoric” that accused Russia of “an act of war” in its supposed meddling in American elections when he compared the allegations about posting Russian troops on its American border.

Avenatti shot back, calling that accusation “ironic,” saying it is Carlson who actually uses “reckless” political rhetoric.

Carlson disagreed — adding that Avenatti was recklessly “exploiting” Daniels, his client.

“You’re exploiting her and you know that,” Carlson accused.

“Sir, this is absurd,” Avenatti said. “Why don’t you call Trump the ‘creepy porn president’?”

“I think you demean her repeatedly and I think you’re a hypocrite,” Carlson shot back.

Avenatti later said, “How do you have a show when you’re this ignorant?”

Carlson went on to say that the attorney has been profiting from Daniels’ profile as a porn actress who is pursuing legal action against the president.

Michael Avenatti is representing Daniels in her legal battle against Trump and his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen.

Cohen paid Daniels $130,000, which Trump later reimbursed, as part of a nondisclosure agreement a few weeks before the 2016 presidential election.

Avenatti has been all over the mainstream media discussing the Daniels case, his presidential ambitions, and the president himself.

The lawyer, no stranger to headline-grabbing, threatened legal action against two reporters at The Daily Caller if they continued to write “hit pieces” about him — while issuing a warning that “significant damages” will be recovered.

Avenatti attended the MTV Video Music Awards in August, “as attention-seeking celebrities are wont to do,” noted The Atlantic.

“I’ve really been surprised how much enthusiasm there is’ for Avenatti 2020.”

“Sleek as a panther on the prowl, like Steve McQueen of ’60s cinema, he oozed ambition onto whatever mics hovered beneath his chiseled chin.

“Yes, he told the nodding inquisitor from Variety,” the article continued, “[that] he is indeed ‘seriously looking at running for president: ‘I’ve been traveling around, talking to people in the country, and I’ve really been surprised how much enthusiasm there is’ for Avenatti 2020.”
