The New Yorker published a bombshell report on Sunday night that claimed there is yet another Kavanaugh accuser: a former Yale classmate of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s.

And there is now talk of a third potential accuser — if Michael Avenatti, the attorney for porn actress Stormy Daniels, is to be believed.

The president’s nomination of Kavanaugh to the highest court in the land went awry a week ago due to the charges of a first accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, a California psychologist who claims that he assaulted her back in high school at a house party, when they were both teenagers.

Deborah Ramirez, 53, of Boulder, Colorado, has now told The New Yorker that Kavanaugh exposed himself to her back when they were college classmates.

Kavanaugh released a statement denying the claim, The New Yorker piece noted.

“This alleged event from 35 years ago did not happen,” said Kavanaugh. “The people who knew me then know that this did not happen, and have said so. This is a smear, plain and simple. I look forward to testifying on Thursday about the truth, and defending my good name — and the reputation for character and integrity I have spent a lifetime building — against these last-minute allegations.”

The White House also defended its nominee to the Supreme Court.

“This 35-year-old, uncorroborated claim is the latest in a coordinated smear campaign by the Democrats designed to tear down a good man,” said White House spokesperson Kerri Kupec, according to NBC. “This claim is denied by all who were said to be present and is wholly inconsistent with what many women and men who knew Judge Kavanaugh at the time in college say. The White House stands firmly behind Judge Kavanaugh.”

On Sunday, ranking member Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) sent a letter to Senate Judiciary Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), stating in part that she would like “an immediate postponement of any further proceedings related to the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh” — and calling on him to support an FBI investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations by Deborah Ramirez and Christine Blasey Ford.

Conservative pundit Candace Owens weighed in on the matter, saying on Twitter: “New ABSURD allegations against Brett Kavanaugh have just hit the press and I AM LIVID! I will be discussing LIVE on @FoxNews at 9 p.m. ET. Will do everything in my power to stay calm discussing this but making NO PROMISES. @jasoninthehouse, you ready?!”

Lou Dobbs, political commentator and host of Fox Business Network’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight,” tweeted, “Dimms [Dems] on a roll: Two women in last minute attacks on Kavanaugh — both accounts denied, disputed by named witnesses, and zero evidence! Gutless GOP to blame, need to vote now!”

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough, never one to hold back, tweeted, “Kavanaugh can’t claim areas are about [sic] of bounds given that he was Starr’s lawyer pressing the independent counsel to ask Clinton sexually graphic questions that bordered on being pornographic. BK [Brett Kavanaugh] certainly set a low standard for his opponents to follow.”

“I feel ill,” wrote one person. “I’m so grateful to Ramirez & Blasey Ford & any other women preparing to come forward who Kavanaugh sexually abused. But I don’t want there to [be] ANY. I want a SCOTUS nominee who never abused anyone. I want a POTUS who hasn’t either. That should be such a low bar.”

“Who is this new accuser’s lawyer?” tweeted Erick Erickson, a conservative radio-show host and blogger. “I’m assuming a radical progressive. It took her six days of talking to her lawyer before she was sure it Kavanaugh?!?!! Good grief.”

And Jon Favreau, of Pod Save America, tweeted this:

“It is so fascinating how this second accuser comes forward just as news comes that Kavanaugh has calendars to prove his summer travels to refute the first accusations,” noted another person.

Lawyer and potential 2020 presidential contender Michael Avenatti, for his part, tweeted this Sunday night: “I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn.”
