Liberal activist and actor Rosie O’Donnell has been a huge critic of President Donald Trump even well before he ran for office.

The two have had a feud going back quite some time.

And she’s been hugely outspoken as well against Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court, Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh.

Many liberals worry that if he’s seated on the high court, he will help overturn Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that allowed women to have abortions legally across the country.

Based on that overriding fear, she tweeted out that a vote for Kavanaugh is a vote to kill women.

“A vote for kavanaugh is a vote to kill women with back alley abortions — come on collins — stand up for women #StopKanavaugh #WOMEN4WOMEN,” O’Donnell tweeted out on Friday this week.

She also tweeted that “Kavanaugh is a liar and a moron #NOonKAVANAUGH.”

Her tweet focused on a statement from Kavanaugh in which he mentioned that birth control pills are like “abortion-inducing drugs.” Whether he misspoke or misunderstood one of the many questions put to him by members of the Senate Judiciary Committee is unclear.

“Plan B disrupts ovulation but does not destroy a fertilized embryo. Contraception is NOT abortion,” wrote Dr. Eugene Gu in a tweet that O’Donnell shared.

O’Donnell received a lot of hate for her tweet.

“Wait … how many women died of back-alley abortions before Roe v. Wade? This I do know: At least half of all babies aborted since Roe v. Wade were female. I’d say the ratio is at least 10,000,000 to 1. Who is it that is ACTUALLY KILLING WOMEN?” asked one user on Twitter.

Others made personal attacks against O’Donnell.

“You need help. You need at least 180 intensive inpatient behavioral health days,” wrote one user.

Some people clearly didn’t understand the connection between voting for Kavanaugh — and killing women. “I don’t understand? Explain to me how a vote for Kavanaugh will kill women?”

Others supported Rosie O’Donnell no matter how controversial her statements — or how blatant her hatred for Trump.

“Please please please don’t allow the Kavanaugh confirmation! I am 64 years old and fought long and hard as a teen for women’s rights. Don’t let me die thinking my efforts failed!” wrote one user.
